PADI Diving Courses
Scuba diving is a unique experience that can change your life. It’s a chance to get up close and personal with marine life in its natural habitat and to tap into your sense of adventure in a way that only the ocean can inspire!
PADI Discover Scuba Diving
Explore the underwater world with your instructor to a maximum depth of 12m/40ft. Have fun enjoying the amazing sea life we have in Cabo!
The DSD program is not a certification course, but you will complete a quick 20-minute online (eLearning) session before you start the adventure.
On the day of your adventure, your instructor will give you a briefing and answer any questions you might have before getting into your dive gear. We start by practicing a few skills in shallow water. Once you feel comfortable, your instructor will guide you on two real dives!

PADI Open Water Diver
Thinking about becoming a certified diver?
This is the course to start your diving journey! In only 4 days, you will learn all the diving and safety skills needed to dive independently with your buddy to a depth of 18m/60ft. To begin, you will complete the theory portion of the course online through the PADI eLearning platform. This can be done on your own time before your trip to Baja, allowing you to make the most of your vacation.
Once you join us, your course begins with two shallow water training sessions. During these sessions, you will complete the five confined water modules and practice all required skills in a controlled environment with your instructor. After that, you will complete four open water dives, where you will put everything you have learned into practice.
If you have already finished your theory and confined water sessions with your local dive shop and only need your four open water dives, you’re welcome to join Dive Baja to complete your Open Water Referral. (See pricing below)

PADI Rescue Diver
Probably the most challenging scuba diving course there is, but also the most fun!
After completing your PADI Rescue Diver eLearning, you’ll join us for three days of practical training. You’ll start by reviewing and refreshing your self-rescue techniques, then move into in-water rescue skills and learn how to provide assistance from both shore and boat. Your instructor will guide you through each scenario and challenge you to master the skills needed to prevent and manage diving emergencies. By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident in your own diving abilities and in your capacity to assist others.
